The Can-B study seeks to understand how cannabis use during pregnancy and early life may affect the future development of the child's brain.
By participating in this long term study, you and your baby will be helping us gain scientifically based understanding of possible outcomes. Thus helping us develop meaningful strategies to assist future moms dealing with anxiety or mood disorders, in a timely fashion.
Help us further our knowledge and care for pregnant mothers and their child!
Who can participate?
▸ Woman aged between 18 and 40
▸ In early pregnancy with a single fetus
▸ Living in the Estrie or Mauricie-et-du-Centre-du-Québec region
▸ With or without cannabis consumption of any type (CBD or THC, smoked, ingested, vaped or other)
What does it imply?
▸ Follow-up with a specialized research team
▸ Short online questionnaires to complete
▸ Three visits to the CHUS research center
▸ Collection of samples to be determined
▸ Financial compensation for your time
